So some of you have told me that up to 50 kids have taken your survey. Well done! This is what you will do today:
1. Look at your results? What do they say?
2. Put your results in our blog. Share with everyone what you found out.
3. Come up with a conclusion. Do we know what's cool? Do teens create cool? Can we tell?
When we are finished you will be asked to read and discuss this:

See ya,

Dear Mr. E,
ReplyDeleteWe think we know what's cool at MPH, but that doesn't necessarily mean that MPH itself is cool. We also think that the teenagers, mainly upper-schoolers define what is cool at MPH. An then the trends get passed down to middle school and such. Coolness is all about where you're from and the time you take the surveys. For example, right now texting is cool but next year something else might be cooler. Our survey said the basic cools of MPH, but its not always that simple. What is cool? is it just conforming into what everyone else is doing, or is it just your personal preference. Maybe its what people tell you is cool. Whatever it is we at MPH define our selves with what we think is "cool" even if its not always what you yourself think is cool.
Good post. Read the article that I linked in today's post. Nicxe job.
